A Beautiful Warmish Crispy Air Kind Of Day

Today was an extra special day for me and my daughter. And probably not for the reasons you’d think, it wasn’t her birthday or mine, she didn’t say any new words or do something she has never done before. We just had fun. In the morning we drove over to the Arboretum and I followed her as she explored and discovered. It was fascinating to see what really excited her, like the gravel rocks. She was perfectly content to sit and rearrange the rocks for a good 15 minutes. She also loved looking at the water in the ponds and pointing out every tree we passed. After we spent a good hour exploring the depths of the park we returned home for lunch and a nap. She slept a whole 2 1/2 hours which is long for her. I guess all the walking around tired her out. After she woke up we immediately went outside again because it was such a beautiful warmish crispy air kind of day. We drew pictures on our driveway in chalk and a message for Daddy saying Sophia Loves Daddy for when he comes home. And now we’re awaiting his arrival, Sophie in just a diaper and sweatshirt, she loves to be naked, even if it’s only her legs.
