About a week or so ago I sent out an email to all my friends asking them to send an email to Canada’s Prime Minister to stop the clubbing of baby seals, an annual hunting event for fur. One of the friends I sent this to was my husband who usually ignores my various bleeding heart emails, so you can imagine my surprise when I received an email back saying, “Let’s stop those seal clubbing bastards!” Later that day I thanked him for joining me in the fight and told him how surprised I was. And he put it like this, “I just had to ask myself: For clubbing of baby seals? Against clubbing of baby seals? I’m going to have to go with with against.” After we were finished laughing we further decided that there are two kinds of people in this world. And I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this.
