I’ve had some interest with friends wanting me to blog again and the reason I haven’t been is because of this beautiful summer that has begged me to stay outdoors with my daughter Sophie and our friends on our street.  I couldn’t justify sitting on the computer for more than the time it took me to answer my emails when it was so beautiful outside.  But now, a few days after a c-section, I’ve got no choice and thought some of you may want the latest update in my life, baby Leia Elizabeth!  I truly wondered if I could love anyone as much as my first daughter, but all my fears were put to rest as soon as I heard that first cry and began sobbing on the operating table.  Giving birth is the most amazing, scary, crazy moment I have ever experienced and now I have two beautiful baby girls to warm my heart everyday.   I wasn’t due for two more weeks and I had a cesearean planned for the week before her due date but Leia had plans of her own and sent me into labor despite my attempts to avoid it on Wednesday, October 4, my father’s birthday as it turns out, and arrived at 1:53pm.  She’s absolutley gorgeous and such a good baby weighing 7 pounds .4 ounces.  She has long dark hair and her mommy and daddy wrapped around her long fingers.  So there you go blog readers…there’s an update.  Kate=Happy.
